Achieving a Certificate in School Nutrition from SNA shows commitment to the profession of school nutrition. SNA’s Certificate Program aligns with USDA Professional Standards, making it easier to keep up with the annual training requirements.

Earning a Certificate in School Nutrition will:

  • Give you and the nutrition program where you work credibility
  • Enhances your image & reputation as a school nutrition professional with supervisors, parents, and administrators
  • Engage you in seeking ways to participate in life-long learning
  • Help you stay current on the latest issues and solutions related to your job
  • Provide a career ladder that you can use to advance in the field
  • Makes you eligible for scholarships, awards and grants

In addition to enjoying the pride and satisfaction in achieving this goal, SNA of Massachusetts will also notify your superintendent of your success and provide you with a special pin to let everyone know that you have taken the step to earn your Certificate in School Nutrition!

To receive your Certificate in School Nutrition, all you need is 2 courses: Servsafe (or similar food safety course) AND Nutrition 101 (or similar basic nutrition course).
Only $10!
Lunch will be provided!
